A big hallo to all,

on Montag, 1. October we met Pete, Goodie and the others in Brixen! The date was at 14:30!
Therefore Petra - my wife - and me left Sonthofen at 10:15.
It was a very beautiful weather! The way lead us down south via Oberjoch, Tannheimer valley, Gaichtpass to Reutte. Further over the Fernpass and Telfs to Innsbruck.
From here we took the small way ober "Ellbögen" - very nice!!! In Mattrei we reach the "Brenner-route". Over the Brennerpass we reached Brixen and met the 5 Aussies! A big hello and we left that busy town! The way lead us to the Würzjoch - one of my favourites in the whole alps!

Hi everyone - we're having an absolute blast! After 5000kms most of our tyres had it and need replacing. We couldn't find a better spot to do it than here in Tröpolach/Austria. Accomodation and food are simply sensational (or: 'speck-tacular' as TimTim would say). It's a newly created word for all the Speck we are consuming.

Thanks, Rudi, for posting the first few pictures of our trip. Unfortunately we're not able to do that ourselves, until we're back in Australia.... due to the lack of technical personel - hehe, we've got only 3 computer experts in the group, (but they're always too busy riding those magnificent roads.......)

Speck's good, Schnaps' good, Life's good!!!
