Hytram
<-- now went that way
It was going to be a fine weekend, new bike, so what would be better than going to a little ride
this is the rough route, 2 days, part of day 2 was the Ride for the Hills. there are some great dirt tracks in the Brisbane Ranges and the Lerderderg Gorge which are so close to melbourne
The KTM is its natural environment
Even with the colour turned down to almost Black and White the KTM is still over kill
down one of the tracks in the the Brisbane Ranges, Rosie just plodding along
Same place, just 180 degrees, look at that chunky tyre
In a little place called Steigitz, an old gold mining settlement, lots of little bits of history around this area
a couple of Hondas (2007 models I believe)
A couple of Twins, the KLE wasn't talking.... it has "CC" issues
I got the kids cutlery
not far from Steigitz was Rosie's first river crossing
See, I even have the camera to match the bike
Rosie learning the hard lesson, when you stop on a road that leans to the left, dont put the right foot down, I just reckon the KLE wanted its belly rubbed
Rosie's second river crossing, A bit deeper this time
Grin from ear to ear
its a big bike, but this is a bigger bridge, its on the main line between Melbourne and Bendigo
We are in the middle of nowhere and Rosie has to get the only red light in miles!!
Penalty one thousand dollars?....how about Penalty, get your flaming arse shot off!!
here are some glamour shots of the new beastie in the Toolangi State Forest

it was a nice little 600km+ and we where never more than a hour from Melbourne
A report on the new bike can be found here
