Call it a bike show, call it a club meet.
Just a few guys and their bikes...every first Sunday in May.
Same place, year after year

Getting the hang of it
Unfortunately I left Mirboo North a bit after midday and went:

Grandridge East - Warragul Korrumburra rd - Lardners tk - Topiram Torwood rd - Main South rd - Lang Lang Park rd - Drouin Poowong rd - Invermay rd West - Westernport rd - Thwaites rd - Heads rd - Koo Wee Rup Longwarry rd

Got to Bayles a bit before 2PM, only thing of interest left was a restored kwaka 500 triple.

I'll be earlier next year!

twowheeler

two wheels are best
More Vincent photos.

#1 The owner (I presume ! :)) going through a long and involved process to get the bike to start, then stay started. He appeared to be very familiar with said process .

#2 Rear wheel dropouts and double-sided sprockets. Just like my old track bike, just a bit thicker.

#3 On a twin-cyl Vincent parked next-door, a hand gear lever next to the RHS footpeg. Its owner said it was much easier to engage neutral using the hand lever than the foot lever. But as it involves taking the throttle hand off the bars and bending down doubled-over, he said he only ever uses it when stationary, for parking-manoeuvres. Smart men, Vincent owners .

It was good to meet you guys.

It wasn't a great day for riding so after Kallista I just rode up the road towards Emerald. I enjoyed it but with the wet roads, great big potholes, gravel, wet leaves etc I decided I had had enough fun and wandered home.
