Derek was thinking, I must have forgotten something.

Naw....he was thinking about what he'd tell Charley Boorman this time around :killingme

The sheer number of Campers and Caravans all over Tas had us stumped though...if that continues to grow the place will be wrecked in a few years.
One has to go REALLY off the beaten paths to get away from those lumbering speed-traps.
You've got some sweet shots there, mate...any chance to use the XL-version off SmugMug rather than those tiny shots?
They're really worth having a better look at!
(when you grab the pic-URL off SM, there are 3 or more sizes available, each with their own link...pick the XL).
It's a bit of a shame to have such quality pics reduced to near-thumbnail size (even if they're called "large")

MORE please!!

Hope Pete and the gang are having as much of a good time as we had.

You lucky sods seemed to have cashed in all the good-weather-chips and left us with the dregs. Still had a GREAT time though :chug: :)

We were lucky with the weather, apart from the first morning off the boat when it rained, and when Sally jinxed us going to Port Huon "it would be funny if it started to rain 30 minutes before we get the motel" was said at lunch. :(

Great fun though, going back with the van and doing the free camp thing next time, if they have not closed that little loophole by then.

:bs
Might have to scuttle her (in the rain) next time :bt

The bigger pics look sooo much better, thanks !!! :D
Checking, they're 1,024px × 768px
Wanna try the next size up again? The forum standard is 1280 width/ 3500 pixel portrait...from memory. If not, the forum software will knock them down to that size, or thereabouts.

Yo, also planning a cage trip south next time...mainly for walking and checking out some stuff that's not working well with bike-clobber/ helmets etc

We had other bits of twisty roads to have fun on. All good. :D

True...Cradle Mtn. isn't really the pinnacle in the Tassie-roads department.
There's better stuff around....and not far away, either.

This is what happens when you dont CLOSELY look at your rear disc pads before going on a trip. BMW dealer doesn't do spares on a Saturday morning, and we dont keep much stock anyway he told me. He did point me in the direction of a local bike shop that did though. All good.

Dip Falls, Pete suggested to go there, thanks for the tip.

Motel at New Norfolk was an interesting place. Great breakfast as well.

Hard to imagine how many people had walked on these steps at Oatlands Gaol.
