Another 1.Sunday in May, another Bayles.
And true to tradition...it's gotta be wet!
Some greasy, sloppy backroad near Koo Wee Rup
Some feel as flat as the surrounding countryside and keep the final solution handy
This one's beaming....Sunbeaming!
And if it ain't old and original and still pulling its weight.... it's custom, flash, beautifully crafted and most likely a hothpotch of a dozen bikes + bits.
I couldn't figure out this one! Just check that splitter-block for the front brake cables feeding a set of brake-shoes each at the front hub.
It's a watercooled stroker....with a Springer front-end and adjustable rake?...and points ignition!...and an auto-oil-feed coming out of that rear tank?
No idea if this is "original", but it sure looks old and been plodding along since Noah built the Arc.
A regular visitor at Bayles, the Norvin (Norton frame/ Vincent engine)
Shine on Me!!
Hmmmm... the "Lightning Special" looks a bit like a Russian Cartoon-Rocket from the '60s....lots of shiny bits and NOIZE!! though...
