[VIC] Acheron Way & Toolangi State Forest..

I live in Wantirna so have all the spots glitch has mentioned at my doorstep..
Know most of the sealed roads fairly well but now it's time to find all those places hiding in between ...

And yeah, I've noticed all those Beenak Roads in the Melways...
Somehow it's strange and wonder if years gone by it was originally one track that meandered thru the hills...

Nice day out. I was in the Toolangi area Tuesday. Went from Toolangi across to Buxton on the GT, had a ball. In fact I'm about to head up there again right now, while the weather holds.

Headed out to Warby and up Mt Donna to Cement Creek and the start of the Acheron Way for my first time..

First 7k were fairly slimy in places and I couldn't figure out why as we've had a week of perfect dry weather...
A little further on, workers were grading so this is probably why...

I went along the same road today and it was even worse - nearly all of the dirt section is graded now and very slippery.

My adventure riding life is starting...lol

Oh yeah, those Beenak roads.... they are a mystery!!!
