Default European Odyssey 2015

Ok, before I start, can people please let me know if these pics work? Doug says yes so I'll begin.

So, September last year my wife and I went on a trip to England and Europe. I'm sure many of you here have been to the countries that follow, and some in more spectacular fashion than us, but we were taking our delayed honeymoon after having saved up some more money and for me, the all important (or impotent?) annual leave. Sorry, we didn't do it on motorcycles, but there will be quite a few featured to make up for it!

We flew Etihad from Melbourne to Abu Dhabi on a 777, then got to go on the A380 for the first time for the last 8hrs to Heathrow. The flights were relatively good with Etihad, but my thoughts that being an Arabian airline, they have more room for the first/business class, and squeeze the cattle class up a bit more. The A380, however, was quite comfortable, and I would have preferred this for the longer flight from Aus to the UAE and then the 777 to England.

Flying into Heathrow we got into the holding pattern for two full circles before lining up for landing. Other planes ahead of us in the queue were visible out the window!

We stayed in a hotel near Baker Street, only a couple of blocks from the tube station, and we could take the Bakerloo line down to Embankment for a look around Westminster

Yo, working fine.

If you want, use a photo app to knock em down to 1280 width via batch-processing, making the files smaller, the uploads and downloads faster etc.

Never used G-uploader...but it stands to reason that any file has to be uploaded first in order to be reduced.
