RE "windy" vs "Windy"

Can I suggest using "Winding" ?
eg "A long and winding road" - just like the lyric ;)

Yeah that's what Nev said. Agree. There's no such word as windy in the twisting sense anyway. Since I posed this somewhat rhetorical question I can't get the song out of my head. There are many words we use that aren't really words, but eventually they find their way into the dictionary if they become common usage.
Some of last year's additions to the Oxford English Dictionary were half arsed, hard arsed, kryptonite, photobomb, sexting and so on. Fascinating, nothing to do with motorcycles, but still interesting.
Oh yeah........and twerking.

I often refer to a winding road as a windy road but now I can see it ain't gunna gel as the written word looks ambiguous.
....and the words, "ain't", "gunna" and "gel" are now in the Oxford Dictionary.

Sorry for my off topic rambling but I just cycled the Milawa-Wang return rail trail, then the Wang-Beechworth rail trail, and I've been relaxing in the Beechworth Brewery eating overpriced pizzas, feeling reflective and melancholy, and pretty well stuffed. :scull::drool: :credit:

Now at the Tanswells Commercial Hotel.

Nice ambience.
