Thats where I'm planning to spend this years Melbourne Cup.
At Rahotu Tavern. My sis is the publican there.
Just waiting for the galaxy's to align and Jetstar, Air Nz, Virgin to throw out a bone and I'm on my way!
I'm hoping to steal the bro in laws ag bike and do some touring around Mt Taranaki.

Thats the one, but I think that was before she took over. It was run by some Harley lovers that renamed it the Narley Hog. Business faltered and they moved on.
The pub has had a spruce up and returned to its former self.
It'll have a cafe as well from next month I believe.
Lovely part of the world there.
