More horsing around in Vic

I have taken a few weeks off work, and for the first time since I got off shift work 7 years ago I have spare days just to ride around wherever I want to, so daytrips have been the order of the day.

I have been continuing with a previously established theme, and so creating ride routes has been as easy as playing join the dots.

Last Friday the route went something like

Today the riding gods were back in fine form, another day when the top temps were set to stay in the low 30s.

Good effort founding all of those "Bills", I wouldn't have the patience. The pace at which you are finding and photographing these, you'll soon be ahead of Derek. How many have you found out of the estimated 700 there are in AUS?

I hope Derek will be along soon to provide us with his tally.

Derek and I found this one on the way north on this year's SEQ Bananarama ride.

Derek had explained that he had looked for this once (or twice) before but it had evaded him. We went to the local tourist information kiosk and asked the nice man for some help. He was very helpful, he was also very niiiiice.

There's obviously an interesting back story to this idiosyncratic pilgrimage Nev - I gather that there is an assemblage of horse troughs all sired by the same trough-maker - is there something more to this particular pedigree of water trough? I salute your dedication to trough homage.

nice pics, so what's this "theme" you're on about then... W-)

:killingme

seriously though, being a sad and ignorant youropeeon I had to do some research about Bills horse troughs.

So when are you going to ride to get pics of the 3 in the uk ? :looney:
