Ah you missed out! On a soggy trudge through some peat bogs!

Having been over this yarn time and again over the last year, I reckon this one's the best RR we've ever had on AT...and there's been a string of pearlers, big + small!!

Love the pics, love the words, love the wit and love how it's put together.
What a piece of work!
A BIG THANKS! to Pete for the many hours of gazing and dreaming away of mysterious, dark places and tiny roads and tracks up there in the Scottish Highlands , the Shetlands and ever so close to the fabled Muckle Flugga.

Fabulous stuff!

Awesome report mate, bloody good read and great photos too mate, wish I could have toured a bit more up there, starting to get a bit to cold and windy for riding though.

My family on my mothers side lived on Arran, I visited them on my bike in 1986 when touring Europe, not there anymore but they ran the TV repair shop in Lamlash, spent 3 weeks riding around the Island and the surrounding area on the mainland down to Troon, Prestwick and Ayr, also into Glasgow by train from Adrossen, had a ball, so beautiful up there.

Baz.
