Damn!
That's another ride, I've missed

This, having a wife and kids thing, is highly over-rated

Btw...the Strathbogie Store is still open, still has a tiny bottle shop at the back, too. They ditched the landline, it's only on mobile 0467 429 790.
And it's on the market,.
Looks like the "Under the Sun" arty-crafty Cafe will follow suit soon, too.

Sweet as ever...Mt. Wombat vistas. Mt. Buller with a cloud-cap in the distance.

Great to see Steve and Linda making the annual pilgrimage.:clap:

Wombat_021.JPG

Nice to see this spot hasn't turned into a Maccas yet...the Lord praise bumpy, dusty dirt tracks, Hallelujah! :woot:

Picking the Old Strathbogie Rd. down to Merton was a little surprise, the semi-overgrown, rutted, lumpy, rooted track of years past is still a narrow, tight affair in places but in pretty good nick overall, and obviously looked after now that there are a few more hobby-farms along the way.
Saw a crappy, lumpy, old clay track with a hand-painted corro sign "Dry weather road only" branch off near the top where it's still Jukes Rd....will have a look at that next time.

Great way to start the New Year

Dust bunny alert. Time for another sensor clean Glitch. There are least three spots to the left of the bike. Go outside tomorrow and take a shot of clear blue sky (no clouds) with the camera aperture set to f16. That should show up how many more there are.

Nice pic though. Great subject. :)

yeah, thought of last time and the FZ100.
This one was actually dust ON the lens (externally) after following you too closely along Sth Cathedral and Grantons.
Did a few shots to make sure this arvo...all good.
That's the problem with having the thing around the neck, semi-tucked under a mesh-jacket....sometimes
even the lens-cap comes off, stripped by the liner/or zip
