And thanks to the Spockster for giving me a hand getting The Dishrack back on its wheels again while you bastards frantically scrabbled for the cameras!
:upyrs:

Gee them stroms seem to fall over alot. What was the final tally for the weekend...3 or almost 50% of all stroms...must be the weight of all that extra fuel they carry...:bs

A strange day to start off a weekend ride...somewhere in that 06.20am muck is Mt. Dandenong.

Cruising the backblocks between Warrandyte and Yarra Glen.

Dry dry dry but with the temptation of a little rain to settle the dust.

What a view to live with.

Maybe if we climb into the hills?

Hey Fuzzy, how long did we wait for the first strom to arrive…10 minutes, 15…??? :bs

Aussie Spock – a happy platypus

Kiwi took a deeper route

Lake Eildon was awash with watercraft. Ahhh, the serenity. :bs

The Jerusalem Creek Boathouse mess-up brought some outstanding results....some didn't show up for lunch and rather kept their own company while others pinched the lunch-order of someone else and wondered about a funny-tasting chicken-burger....all-in-all, a total screw-up amongst the traditional Australia Day "bogan-hordes" at one of the key hotspots around Lake Eildon....good to see that at least some things don't change. :chug:

The clouds had disappeared, the sun pelted down....and the twisties of the Skyline Road above the Lake are still as good as ever, perhaps even better, because not as bumpy and gravelly as in the past.

One of the suspected Hamburglars....later set free against bail, proceedings pending :photo:

About an hour and much dust later...the short but magic stretch from the pine plantations at base of Mt. Samaria towards Tatong.
There's another good one for the "roads-bag"!

The shady beergarden at Totong...and the bull starts spinning :so:so

Most were too scared of the little dinky-toy pool at the motel....and really, with 8 of us, it would've looked like a communal bathtub, and God knows what would've happened "under the surf"

Oh shit....no words.:bs On the way TO the pub!!

Getting the hang of it
Looks like a great trip, shame I couldn't make it. Will get out East again soon. Maybe after some new shoes though. Scorpions don't like dirt!

Did do a run today with a couple of mates on Tigers in the Otways and across to the Brisbane Ranges before going our separate ways. They did a bang up job of fixing a terminal flat on the run. Would've been easier on the Guzzi having no chain and a centre stand but I couldn't have allowed the scratching of the rims.
