Roaming Vietnam... The bikes of Vietnam

FUTURE.

Bikes and scooters rule the road in Vietnam. Seems as if everyone has at least one. They are used for commuting, moving the family about to the general haul everything about. Here are some of the many that we saw on our trip in Vietnam.

Honda Goldwing. Owed by a Hanoi Big Bike Club member. Used for escort duties. The Government contracts out to this club. In this case it was for a pushbike race in Hanoi.

Ross....FANTASTIC!!!

What a great idea to bundle the "bike-pics" into a separate thread.
Mate...LOVE IT!!

Unbelievable what those little bikes get made to do and carry.
Which always brings back memories of a small island in the Phillipines that Goodie and I finished up on for a week when migrating to AUS in the early '80s.

The little 90cc Zook 2-smoke with the gaudily decorated sidecar, dropping off a family of 11 for Sunday morning mass at the bottom of "church- hill".
Left us speechless for the rest of the day.

3.5 generations in their Sunday's Best on a dinky-toy :eek::eek::eek:

AMAZING,

Love what people can make do with over there!

Puts a few long winded conversations in the west agonizing over a little feature here or there into perspective!

Cheers

Getting the hang of it
Love it, absolutely love it!

I must admit to more than a passing fancy in the Minsk. I would love to bring half a dozen over to play with. Mini adventure bike, maybe a Russian bucket racer.... :D
