Retrieved a couple of pics and images from the soggy iPhone. I hoped I might have some of Andrew, but alas this was not the case. There were a couple I'd forgot. After all of the effort to get them off the iPhone, I hope you guys and gals appreciate them.

Thursday 19 March ...... Derek and I met Bob & Lanie an Alaskan couple doing a 10 week lap of Oz on a BMW GS1200....

Bob was doing okay for himself, retired after selling his drilling business to a multi-national, not how much he got, but enough to buy an island.

And a couple of aeroplanes, one for summer (when the lake's not frozen), one for winter (when it is). The 2,408 miles is distance from Vancouver BC. Thought for a while that Helen and I might ride up there from Vancouver when we visit in November, but I'm not sure the weather will be favourable.

Snowmobiles are GREAT fun!!
Afterwards you'll trade the ST for one to scream around the St. Helena hills...
November, Alaska?
Shit, hire-an-elk! (and get a barrel of rum for the journey, yeehaww!)

Getting the hang of it
I highly recommend the lions road. The railway does a big loop where it crosses itself on a bridge to gain the height it needs to get over the range.

...... At Kyogle - dinner at the Commercial Hotel - $10:00 Rump Steak.

Photos will be taken!!!!

Well photos were taken, just got to get them off my soggy iPhone.

..... and here they are:

A Crustyvarmint getting into his $10:00 steak, chips, salad and gravy:

An animal WAS harmed in the preparation of the above meal.

But no other animals were harmed with this one.

Something is not quite right here . . .
I would say Willow has been playing with Photoshop again, you know added an extra 100 grams to that steak. Extra cholesterol to those chips.

But you've come unstuck like most Honda pilots on a slippery slope.

There is too much shrubbery on that plate for it to be Crustys W-)

No photo-shopping was done prior to posting of pic.

The plate and contents were Crusty's, don't think he touched the salad.

Next day was Casino to Toowoomba, overnight at the OzSTOC 2015 AGM meeting, next day (Saturday) we headed to Esk through a pea-souper fog and via countless geocaches (hard to find in the fog), arrived lunch time, had a walk around town, checked-out the railway station:

And then spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool at the caravan park, ie. until the showers started.

We sat around and waited for the crew to arrive, in the meantime enjoyed the view of the cabin, and from the cabin:

One by one they arrived, Pete, Goodie, Andrew, Tim and Paul and brought the heavy rain with them. Evening meal in the pub has already been covered by others.
