Pete and Goodie, what can I say?! What a cracker of an idea to head out on a day like today and thanks for setting it all up and inviting us along? I had a sensational time, and hope I can distract the check captain with tales of two-wheeled adventures in the High Country foothills, to cover up my obvious knowledge deficiencies in the stuff I should know about flying. Thanks a lot you guys - brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!!

A foggy climb into the Dandenongs.

Once on top, the sun broke through.

A few slips n slides for everyone chasing the first dirt of the day.

Good thing Williamson had decided not to join us, most embarrassing to have to turn back…

Waiting, waiting….

Arty.

Ahhh, the serenity.

Taken from here.

And of course, there’s always one who doesn’t want to walk…

Waiting for the dust to settle.

I led Fearless on a merry chase along the skyline road to lunch.

Hmmm, so the boss is buying a BMW….

Fantastic spot for picnic lunch. Was brilliant watching the wedge tail eagles soar.

Post Boone Doon, we cut back towards Alexandra.

Glitch located another fantastic cut through.

Which led us to this.

Fuzzy in da lead.

Final stop at Yea, where we ran into a couple of Triumph buddies.

Trip distance. 420km for me
