With only a few hours to spare on Sunday morning, a hopeful weather forecast of at least some dry time before the next "Low from the South", the Vintage Car Hill-Climb at Rob Roy seemed a good idea
http://mgcc.com.au/robroy/

Where's Rob Roy? Just off the Eltham Rd./ Clintons Rd. in the Christmas Hills in Melbourne's North https://goo.gl/maps/WJKJs

Taking the long way around on the Husky after a bit more tinkering over the last couple of weeks...early morning fog in the Yarra Valley.

Wandin's cherry trees have decided that spring isn't far off...

After checking out a few more little dirt roads above Yarra Glen, it's west via the Buttermans and Spanish Gully to the Rob Roy Ridge, checking for activities.
And down at the hill-climb, it's all castor oil and Castrol.

Ohhh, them days when cars had "faces"...and 4wheeled dreams had shapes!!:glu

Certainly some fantastic, old stuff around. Didn't have a chance to do a lap of the carparks, both of which were well stocked with more gawk 'n dream goodies.
While it was the first Classic Car Rob Roy for me, I'll keep an eye on their calendar from now on.

Very scenic setting as well as quite decent tucker from the club-kitchen in the center of the paddock.
Great atmosphere!
