Patriot mystery ride and Report

I orginised this Mystery ride a a quick ride before our annual meeting , we didnt want a long one and due to the football wanted to stay out of the city so this is what I picked out .

Patriot Mystery Ride

Rules:
1. Attached is an Envelope with a map of the RSL.
If you open the envelope that is a deduction of 20 points, return the envelope sealed.
2. No other rules use your initiative.

Clue 1: Where “Pop’s” now resides there is a bridge
What color is it? (10 Points)
How many flowerpots are on the bridge (10 points)

MAKE SURE YOU PAY YOUR RESPECTS WHILE YOU ARE THERE.

Clue 2: If you were a naughty Patriot, you would have spent some
Time here in “J” (10 points)
What is the height of the steel front doors? (10 points)

Clue 3: Visit a biker café and what is its name? (10 points)
You must order a Patriot Drink from the bar
What is the drink? (20 points)

Clue 4: If you were Indian and here during the commonwealth games and you wanted to cop a feel of a young housemaid where would this be? (10 points)
What are the colors of the windows on the building closest to the entrance?
(20 points) (hint: 3 colors)

Clue 5: If you were an exhibitionist and on the world heritage list where are you?
(10 points)
When was it built? (Extra 10 points)
Who were the Architects (extra 10 points)?
What’s is the building next door? (Extra 10 points)

Clue 6: Now make your way to the Sunshine RSL without opening the envelope or lose (20 points)

Ride Report Mystery Ride / AGM 15th July 2006 The day started pouring with Rain at our F.U.P and a less than wanted 9 degrees, What was planned for the day was a mystery ride to a few destinations and then onto the AGM at the RSL. Clues were given to each destination, including Fawkner cemetery where riders dropped in on “pops” Bradley to pay their respects. On the clues sheet was a scavenger list in which teams scored extra points for filling.

Teams were given the list 2 minutes before departing and sent of in intervals. Melways were confiscated from members just to make sure, but we drew the line at dismantling one members GPS. One of the highlights of the departure was when the President and Sgt in Arms got there sheets and read them to find that there Gloves were missing on such a fine riding day, the culprate actually took both of the Press’s gloves just to make sure. Out in the rain the intrepid teams went, one of the stops was at HIGHWAY 31 where I had teed up with the owners that they were to ask for a Patriots Drink. In which they were served a large cold Glass of Raspberry lemonade. Most then made there way over to Harley heaven for a gander and a bit of drooling as well. Anyway the teams then went out and did their thing collecting and confiscating items. One reaching the RSL many drowned Rats appeared with there collection of goodies and evidence. Some notable items were: A plaque from a bomb disposal unit (see item 4) And the Pres gloves appeared with The S.I.A glove as well. From what was conveyed all had a good time, enjoyed the ride and the hunt even though the weather was against us all day. Also would like to welcome few people: Al who is a Patriot from NZ who came over and rode with us and now realizes the Melbourne is Gaelic for “hyperthermia” Neil and Sue, Neil nom’ed up and Jim and his wife (Jim is currently a prospect).
