First time offroad - Wombat state forest

Okay, so steve kindly came out all the way from out his home to help me fit the bars. Once the bars were fitted we said our byes.

I called up another new mate of mine who rides a GS and asked him what he was upto. Coincidentally he was also just about to go for a ride. we met up and decided to go some easy off road stuff.

First time proper off road for me. We did basic easy unsealed forest roads and then 1 4x4 track also. Here is piccies!! loving the adventure thang. love the vstrom.

Knew you'd like it mate. Seeing a bit more of he country already!

Cookin', oh yeah! Would've been perfect around that area, as it didn't get the amount of rain the North and East copped...good choice.
Just damp enough for no-dust and good grip.

good idea to not start off roading alone, I did (Billy no-mates!) & very nearly came very unstuck a couple of times. I now know my limits (ish) & try to stay within them (ish!) nice pics, but beware... the "adventure" or "off road" thang starts like that... & just keeps going...
