Trying something with the camera...which obviously backfired.

Yup...a full-sized 'cop' joined in for some extra flavour.:wink:

Tail-End "Charlyene" (for lack of a real name ) looking after the bag-o'-cats...

Hi Pete the tail end "Charlyene" is my daughter Tammy. She is trying to take fathers position at the back. I should have introduced her. I thought she`s 29 ,she would do that ha ha. Thanks for taking such great pics Rob

Thanks to OpenRoad Tourers for organising a coffee stop at the Strath Creek General Store.

The coffee is on the ordinary side of good (better get Paul to a Barista course, I think they have one at Flowerdale TAFE), but the egg & bacon sanga and free Tim Tams will get me back there one day soon.

Good turnout of ORT's and AusTourers. Another thanks to Pete and Goodie for the company whilst waiting for the group

A couple of my pics featuring Hondas:

Mmmmm! Must get a lens filter, to filter out those other foreign makes.

The cream rises to the top (a baby CB):

Some prepared on an earlier trip to the Murchison Gap - Strath Creek area:

Just a little touch-up in photoshop:

Long Timer
Great write ups guys. Have to admit the day turned out a ripper despite early weather predictions and dry windy roads a plenty with good company. I had a great run across in the morning to Strath Creek with my unofficial "unmarked" escort clearing the traffic once they copped an eyeful of a white beemer heading their way which was a bit of fun and caught me 2nd guessing a few times as well when the throttle was cracked a bit hard...thanks Eivind. Had new Michelin Pilot road 4 rubber on the bike and have to say bloody impressive things if you're after some new rubber as they stick like the preverbial to a blanket and inspired some hard charging on the big girl as other rubber I've had on it has the bike sliding quite easily once the power is let loose...lol

Thanks to the Open Road Tourers for a great ride.

Nice to read up on the ride -- sounds like you had a lot of fun.

Sorry I didn't make the Lancefield point for lunch too. After spending all of Saturday on the road, I had too much other stuff to get done and suspected I would miss you by the time I got there. Bah. :(
I hope I catch you next time though!
