Didn't make it to the Mt Pilot fire tower - as it was it took us 3 hours Myrtle to Tallangatta. Mr Fish led us on some awesome ridge roads and cut throughs
Camera - I only had the little blue Lumix tough camera (the one usually in my top pocket). Forgot to charge the battery for LX5 and I didn't have time to work out a padded bag for the big Lumix (like yours).

We pushed on to Gundagai and had accom booked at the Criterion Hotel
Someone kindly lent me a beer so I could take this pic.
It looks tasty doesn't it?
Very nice old pub. Art Deco and all.

I like them ol' style country pubs and hospitality.

After leaving Gundagai we criss crossed our way to Wee Jasper, with Cooma being the destination for the night.
We were making good progress, so stopped for a game of fix the broken Zipper..I'm not sure who won
The countryside around Wee Jasper. We were having a ball, just quietly chuffing through the countryside.
The town of Tharwa, so close to Canberra. We stopped for breather and a drink. Nice spot.This store takes you back in time, has quite a gallery of photos from Yesteryear.
It was turning out to be a Super day ( Did you see what I did there?)
Then it was into Cooma for the night. It was cooling off too. The Temp in the morning was rumoured to be -4
The motel was an interesting place!

We had secure courtyard parking which was great as we headed off to the Pub next door.
