two wheels are best
A grey afternoon didn't make for good photography, but at least it wasn't raining, and it made a change from commuting which is the only riding I've been doing lately.
Spent a couple of hours moseying along local back roads in Silvan and Macclesfield, playing with the Beemer's engine modes. Never had them before on a bike, and although the full-whack Dyna mode adds a definite edge to everything, I'm not noticing much difference between the others, not that I'm pushing it.
I did learn though that the standard-fit Anakees might be marketed as 80/20 or 90/10 or whatever, but on soft stuff I reckon they're about 100/0 :???: .
Not helping the photography was the obligatory use of the iPhone. Sadly, my faithful 9yo Sony A700 DSLR has started making loud clacking noises when switched on & off and is providing its own unasked-for special effects. It's never been the same since being high-sided on the Dig Tree ride last year. Sounds & looks terminal .
