2014_Yanakie, Beer and Dingo Creek

The OpenRoaders had invited to Yanakie, right at the gates to Wilson's Prom National Park.
A fantastic overnighter with lots of laughs, great November-weather, lots of great tucker, enough cold beer to sink the Titanic and some ohh-so-sweet roads getting-to and getting-home.

It was a bloody hoot! :glu:chug:

2014_Kinglake Husky-Muster

Late November and it was time for the planned get-together of the local TR650 Husky-Punters.
How many could we get?

The weather played along and it all turned into a fabulous day on the bikes, on the gravel, rocks and root-hopping along some pretty special scenic bits in Melbourne's hills to the north.

Lots of Terras + Stradas

2014 Xmas Lunch Kinglake

Tim SF had rung the bell for for a short-notice Xmas-lunch meet at the Kinglake Pub.

Sticking with tradition, there were a couple of new roads to check out, the occasional spur to climb and the odd "connector" to discover.

All that amongst lots of cock 'n bull, laughs galore....and a Kiwi playing monkey.:bs

2014 Xmas Day

With PERFECT weather and not much else to do, what better than to hit those deserted roads out there and enjoy a near traffic-free day in the backblocks ?

2014_ late December

With Xmas "in the bag", it's another glorious day despite the mediocre forecast.
More new roads are begging to be added to the "stock"....this time towards the hills in the East.

Towards Labertouche

Mate...this thread has become the only way for me to find the "When, Who, Where, How, etc etc"... dig for the pics that I know are around, but where?...even keep track of which bikes we had when and for which trips....check on roads/places/ areas traveled that I seem to remember but can't pin down...and all that sort of stuff.
Sometimes I trip over a Gmap link on the WWW and get all fired up, then discover that we've been there 12 years ago and I'd forgotten all about that road/ track/ lookout/ whatever.

All it needs is an index of some sort, perhaps I'll get around to it one day.
Thanks for checking in :chug:
