Ok, ok... if someone like you starts foaming at the mouth about a particular stretch of alpine roads.....here are 2 questions:
If I read that right, this was your route http://goo.gl/maps/VXbWd
The Passo di San Rocco is between B +C on the map (the little SP9 route?)

Did you take the SP58 from Idro to Capovalle?

Or the SP56 a little further south from Idro, at Vestone, then via Trebbio +Vico to Capovalle? http://goo.gl/maps/14cH5

Hello Pete,

that was my normal route so far!
But not this time!
We went this way. The Passo S. Rocco is on the entrance Capovalle.
The whole section between Lake Idro and Gargnano is simply a dream!!!

Sounds like it!

Ok...I thought the San Rocco would be on the SP9, not the "main" road.
All good.
Thought I check before marking it off on the papermaps.
