Not a bad effort?

About 2 mins after this pic was taken, I headed off to the other side of the hill and the whole environment changed to green pastures and fields. It was as if those views and ruggedness disappeared. It was quite odd. I kept looking over my shoulder almost willing those views to come back!

On the way to Bruthen. Lots of twisties interupted by some straights. Knew it wouldnt be long before I was dead heading it through Sale, Bairnsdale, blah blah blah!

Comfort stop at a very well appointed campground at Bruthen. Quite idyllic!

This is what happens to your steed when you have way too much fun!

This isn't mud, but a very fine red dust that has managed to coat most of the bike

Now for some figures. For those of you that may be interested.
Thurs 448km Mt Martha to Bright
Fri 340km Bright to Jindy
Sat 335 sedate ramble around the local areas for the ride proper.
Sun 496km Door to door Jindy on our epic 'Big Teds Ride Day'
Mon 539km Jindy, via Barry Way, Bairnsdale and 'the slab' back to Mt Martha

Funny, or scary thing is that our epic Sunday was only a poofteenth shorter than my trip home. Fark!

Thanks for watching.
Till we meet again!

I now understand why the Vic Government wants to outlaw bikkies gangs.

@Cam

Good stuff!! Looks like you REALLY enjoyed the Barry Way, just going by the
!number! of shots in the RR :so

Some stunning countryside around there, too.

I LOVE that stretch where the road runs closely along the river....and the narrow climb/ drop just south of Suggan Buggan, the stretch that's glued to the rockface

You've got some sweet shots there...

Thanks Pete.
Yep, as soon as I was on the Barry Way with the sun coming up, no one else around. I knew I would soon be stopping every five mins for some pictorial opportunities!

One day, I'll join you fellas in Unzud! (NZ)!

Still young and stupid
Was great to see you in Bruthen Cam, sorry if it seemed a bit pre occupied but we were tiring to reduced the time lenna was on the bike as the new seat mods didn't work as well as we had hoped and getting her on and off with the current rack system + luggage was quite a chore. Anyway great rr and am sure we will see you again soon

No worries Adam. Was aware that you'd proberly have every Tom Dick and Harry wanting to ask the same questions over and over and reduce your traveling.
Hope you had a good time anyway and Lena has now recovered from such a big trip.
Tally ho and best wishes to you both.
