No off'cer, I didn't have beer with my muesli, buuurp.
Come back tomorrow...
Actually...looking at this.... Ant seems to continue his never-ending dream-run of "getting caught in the act"
A break on the Morwell River Rd. to swap the jox of one lucky Husky punter.
:kna:kna
Love that road... but when bone-dry, this thing is like riding on marbles.
Grand Ridge Road isn't much fun at the moment, the timber-guys are carting logs and long stretches (as well as most 'feeder-roads" to the ridge) are plastered in 2-3inch chunky gravel/ small rocks...the going is bloody slow, any relief comes in the form of spongy/ soft dust or squishy yellow clay for some tram-tracking delights.
First glimpse of the hills of the Wilsons Prom across the Toora flats and Corner Inlet from Woorarra Rd./Turtons Track junction.
Sadly the sun wasn't out for the run into the Prom and Tidal River.
Finally united with the "roadies" after they bailed on the lunch-meet, wusses!
Making new friends.... drinking like fish....and talking shit.
Arghhh, it's TOUGH!
There he is
AGAIN!! ...and riding the wheels off the 3.bottle of Monteith Dark
" Ya know, comin' around that bend with the bum hanging out and &*^%$#$#^&%...."
Real Men Ride Steel....that's it, stick it up them Hoggers!
They call that a chicken wing nowadays?
Jeezaz, I wanna eat it, not sniff it!
Ahhh, the quiet of pre-season...
And what are you having?
Big Rob cooking it up for the troops
Back into the hills and a last look back to the coast...
