...lots of great gravel roads hooking into each other right there.
Chaelundi Rd. up from Dorrigo into Old Grafton Rd., Clarence Way and up the Clarence River to The Gorge/ Heifer Station, or up the Mann River from the Roadhouse via Hanging Rock Rd. and the Carnham bridge across the Clarence back to the Main Rd.

That's me on the right and Mike on the left with backs to camera. Yep, Nov 2002. The first Beef 'n' Reef tour.
That was our "rest day" after the hectic wait for steaks at the Cotter pub the previous day, and the infamous "Papagalli" porno tape. I still remember on the chairlift, Goodie crying out that she was afraid, and I reassured her with solid advice like "It's perfectly safe, have you ever heard of a chairlift falling down?" (this was about 6 weeks before the Arthur's Seat chairlift collapsed, so it was still good advice at the time).
