This mornings ride took us through the back roads of the Kinglake area. Views of the Yarra Valley and general Victorian country vistas.
It hailed ( more like snow) at Kinglake while we were at the Flying Tarts bakery. Here's a few pics of our day.

Admiring the views

Here are a few more pics of a bumblebee-route through the northern hills.

A sparkler of a morning in the Yarra Flats near Mt. Lofty/ Bend of Islands.
Bloody cold though...and wind gusts trying to push you off the road.

Great to see Willo on the "Tassie Bruiser" XT600 for this one,....Hans, you're watching?....the roaring, farting Scrambler added some sound and Doug's mint-looking, trusty Strom.

On the ridges above Yarra Glen, views and howling gusts across the Yarra Valley and Mt. Dandenong's TV-towers piercing the blackbellies in the background on the right.

I wouldnt leave that bike unattended for too long...
You,re likely to come back and find Marsupials nesting in those "shelters" :bs

When you get the heated grips they could make handy pie warmers though :D

This bike looks pretty good.

:chug:

Hans,

You have travelled lots more km on the XT than me, thus you are probably more fond of the XT than me. I have no disillusion, the XT is Mighty, mighty ugly.
