With the weather Gods looking kind to bike riders, Linda & I decided to have a leisurely ride.
The plan was to have quick look at Yea Spur Rd, then some roads that Linda has not seen yet.

The day started out very cold and sunny, but by Glenburn could not see a thing. We turned onto Ti Tree Creek Rd / Clarkes Rd, at the end of which it was clearing up.
End of Clarkes Rd.
A quick squirt up the tar to Junction Hill and onto Yea Spur Rd.
This is worth the short detour for the views. The first few pics are less than 1km in, first clear spot you come to.
The road is suitable for any vehicle to this point
But does get a bit trickier further in, with steepish but short ascents & descents. Could get interesting in places after a lot of rain with many clay patches.
These pics are at the end where you get to the farm house & gates.
Looking back towards the Main Rd
Then we went onto Flowerdale to have Lunch at the reserve on Moores Rd.
This stump is about 2 metres across
This was out side the pub
A mixture of '32 '33 & '39 parts.
Then we travelled along Moores Rd, Upper King Parrot Creek Rd, through Strath Creek & onto Murchison Spur Rd.
Murchison Spur Rd
Stopped for a quick look at Strath Creek Falls.
Then along Flowerdale / Forest Rds through Kinglake NP to Whittlesea/Yea Rd & home.
Was a good day out, a total of 240 kms done in 7 hours. Yes we done a lot of stopping & looking.
