Default Close to home

First chance to ride in almost a month.

Saturday - followed John & Johnny to Willy's OZSTOC group lunch at Dookie.

The sun was still burning off the fog when I headed down the drive.

The last of the autumn leaves.

Promising signs.

On the way to Goorambat.

Goorambat.

Looks inviting. Maybe next time.

Not too far down the road.

Rich dirt on the hills surrounding Dookie.

Willy's OZSTOC group were already lined up so of course we had to park right in the middle....

There was a shortage of the burgers with the last one being sold immediately before John ordered....the look of disappointment on his face was so sad, someone surrendered their burger to him.

Johnny seems impressed

John seemed up to the challenge.

Those who ordered the mixed grill also went home hungry....

After lunch while some waddled to their bikes complaining of bellies about to burst, I made my own way towards Myrtle.

Towards Glenrowan.

Mt Buffalo in the distance. Closing in on home.

Moyhu, EDI and some exploring around Carboor.

Sunday - a coffee run to Walwa with some border folk.

Call me slow but.....I just can't seem to work out why the locals call my home town Myrtle-fog

The transformation of the Murray River Hwy from a wonderful upsy-downsy goat path to raceway is almost complete between the dam wall to Bell Bridge.
