2008....Harvey Bay, QLD emergency bike-repair shop and overnight shelter after the saltwater-drownings on Fraser Island the day before.

Posties To The Cape (York) trip.

The bike on the left would be terminal by the end of the day...sparking a mad engine-hunt up and down Australia's East Coast and an even madder catch-up burn to Cairns.
....only to continue the next chapter a few months later, howling gear box and all
