Same bridge different direction? Near Keotong?

Looks like the same.
Could be leftovers of a road-bridge (carpark just next to it) or a couple of ?water-tank platforms or such?

I think it was a bridge across the rail line to a farm on the other side. You could see the old "road" on the other side although it does not show clearly in the photo. I parked the bike in the carpark and walked down to the main bridge further west.

Scenic Wodonga bypass (from Barnawartha), mostly sealed, steep single-lane!

Highlight #1

How I ever managed to keep missing a true gem (of the "serenity" kind) for decade after decade is beyond me.

The Upper Murray (-loop).
NOT a RailTrail.

Quiet, nearly too pretty to be real....and the Indi and Biggara bridges make for a very neat cruise along both sides of the Upper Murray River while bouncing across the NSW/ Vic border a few times along the way (as obvious by the roads width and quality ;) ).

35k's (return loop ex B400 ) of hilly, undulating farmland with a dead-gorgeous pack of single-lane twisties (gasp!!) , a myriad of small lookout/ lunch spots, the free Indi Bridge Camp area on the bank of the Murray.
Took a lot of sweat and pushing up the steep sections, brake pads copped their first flame-out.

5 hours for us...but barely an hour of tootling along on a moto, all sealed. No Gmap streetview, no big signage....just solitary bliss in a fairytale landscape.

Side note:

The just-finished "camper-trailer" hung together perfectly, all worked out pretty well.

The tiny canvas-fart had the $200k-caravan/Ram1500 crowd in stitches, laughing tears watering the beer. :)

Come pack-up-time, they were still folding up chairs and tables before pulling down the awning ....as we were the first 80k's down the road.

Much more civilised and comfortable than sleeping on the ground. I don't think that the good ole days were that good after all.

It's rather the "getting the arse off the ground" over and over that takes an effort nowadays. :)
